Yip Man → Ng Chan → Sam Chan

Grand Master Ng Chan commenced training as the protegee of Grand Master Yip Man in the 1950's. In the 1960's under the instruction of Grand Master Yip, Grand Master Ng Chan commenced teaching Ving Tsun Kuen in Hong Kong.

In the past few decades, Grand Master Ng Chan never forgot any lessons taught of the Grand Master Yip. In addition to develop the meaning and concept of Ving Tsun Kuen, Grand Master Ng Chan continues in researching and exploring the pattern, version, theory and philosophy of Ving Tsun Kuen. As a result, a lot of new techniques and theories were developed by Grand Master Ng Chan.

Master Sam Chan served as the protegee of Grand Master Ng Chan from the 1970's and has been practising and teaching Ving Tsun Kuen for nearly 40 years.

Grand Master Yip Man, Grand Master Ng Chan and Master Sam Chan have been teaching Ving Tsun Kuen in Hong Kong and overseas for many years and there are many outstanding students and protegees, we are unable to introduce them here individually in detail.
